Homespun Heartache formed gradually over glasses of red wine and conversations about children and husbands. Eventually it made more sense to sing and play than to do anything else.
They are a singer/songwriter band that has grown from their love of all things bluegrass. Homespun Heartache puts a spin on original and traditional tunes by stacking glowing 3-part harmonies and incorporating romping, stomping rhythms wherever possible. Their sound is lively with intermittent with heartfelt folksy moments. Sit back, commiserate, sing-along or get up and dance with one of Smithers freshest acts!
