Toby Moisey

Toby Moisey is a graduate of the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory, Russia, (2014) he studied under Prof. Alexandra Vavilina, former Flute Solo with the legendary Mravinsky Orchestra. He holds a Bachelor of Education from McGill University, Quebec (2018) and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Victoria, BC (2009) Mr. Moisey grew up in Smithers, BC, Canada.

Mr. Moisey has taught at the Orchestra North Summer Program in Smithers, Kitimat District Band Adventure, Performed with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra and has explored many approaches to music though experimental performance, most recently  collaborating on a soundtrack with Montréal puppet theater group Ombres Folles. Mr. Moisey is an avid volunteer for Smithers Community Radio on which he hosts Culture Shock, a show about music.
