Zanna & The Zig-Zags started as an acoustic alt indie duo in 2018, under the name of Mixtape. Guitarist Jaap Kalkman and singer/ukele Anna Ziegler were joined in 2019 by Gary Miles on drums, Dave Ziegler on bass and Meghan Brady vocals. Zanna & The Zig-Zags perfom high energy alt indie dance music. They perform in the Smithers region in bars and at dances and festivals
